This is a self portait of the photographer sketched circa 1980. As you might imagine, he only looks a little like this now, except perhaps for the general grubbiness.
Ed Farrell photographs close to home. For many years this was in his native California, with occasional forays elsewhere. Now it is in the Pacific Northwest around Bellingham, Washington, where he currently makes his digs. He prefers to shoot landscapes and still life close-ups, but occasionally shoots a portait or two. He is particularly keen on dramatic cloudscapes and moody weather, but likes to capture memorable light at any time.
